Nice place to sit down and read or bring friends to. Tasty drinks, though I wish they had vegan options. Shoutout to Sage, one of the baristas, she always goes above and beyond to ensure customers are happy and everything is running smoothly :)

I enjoy this neighborhood café. They have yummy drinks like a Mexican mocha and they have fresh baked desserts. I enjoy supporting a local business with cario employees and a mellow neighborhood vibe. They sell T-shirts and other accessories and they have a nice bookshelf for free reading.

This place is very small cute and quaint I love it here. I usually come for the chicken empanadas, even though you don't see them in this post I did get them lol the chicken empanadas are so delicious some of best empanadas I have ever had. They make the empanadas fresh which I truly enjoy and the service here is great. They are super friendly and you can tell everything is made with love.Next time I need to get some work done, I think I'll be coming here.

Corner spot location close to lots of local shops and dining. This is a very cozy spot with a nice ambience and good food and coffee (My favorite are the chicken empanadas). The only thing is that it's really tiny, maybe 15 max but less ideally to spend the day working, especially when it gets crowded. Also it can take a while to order during rush hour and I'm not sure if you can order ahead of time. Support this local cafe, it's for the culture!

Came here to do some work outside of the house we were staying at. Good place to work at as the only noises in this cafe are the coffee grinder and the light chatter that happens. There two sets of outlets on the left hand side when entering the cafe: there's another under the bench on the left side but would really get good access to it if you sat in the middle. **update: they started playing very loud music at 12:40 ** and I forgot my earphones Service is great; very welcoming and sweet. They did forget to give us our coffee cake so I had to check up on it; they did not hesitate to give it to me when I showed my receipt! Chicken empanada: 8/10. Perfect bake of the crust. It would be nice if the chicken was a but shredded for ease of eating (so easy to eat tho but had to be a bit more careful). Like another review, the price for the size seems a bit unfair. Ham and cheese sandwich: 7/10. Regular ham and cheese sandwich. It is warmed up so it has a nice toasty feel to the bread. Coffee cake: 9/10. Loved it! It had the perfect amount of the cinnamon but at the top. It's pretty chunky but 6.50 for that piece still seems a little unfair but it's so good I'd buy it again. They do not warm it up :( which I think would've made the cake 10/10. White lavender iced latte: 8/10. Pretty good. The lavender wasn't overwhelming but you can still taste the lavender. Sweetened iced chai latte: 10/10. Though I asked for it to be sweetened, it still had that perfect balance of the spice and sweetness! Would come back again if I wanted to spend a little extra $$ for cafe food!

I have been working out across the street for years and have always seen people going in and out of this coffee shop by the numbers. FINALLY I decided to give it a try. Inside - it is a small coffee shop, but they have a couple of chairs and tables. Drink Menu - very extensive with your typical coffee shop drinks and then your not so common coffee items which have a twist to them. Food Menu - they have a number of pastries, bagels, sandwiches and empanadas I am ALL about empanadas so I grabbed myself a small latte, chicken empanada and chorizo empanada. Bottom line: - Latte - very weak flavor - Chicken Empanada - SMALL for the price but delicious - Chorizo Empanada - SMALL for the price but delicious Overall I cannot justify purchasing a small empanada for almost $8, but if the price does not bother you than this the spot!

When I first walked in I noticed the mural on the wall. I LOVED it. They have some cool merch with their logo on it (tees, mugs etc). I had a Oatmilk Mexican Mocha. It was very tasty. My daughter had an iced caramel latte and a BLT. She loved her drink and the sandwich looked really good (I am gluten free so all I could do was drool). She smacked that sandwich quick. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was very nice and funny. Definitely recommend you supporting this small local business. I live in SJ but will definitely make trips out here in the future to visit this coffee shop. .

I was in the Laurel District to run a few errands and popped in for a coffee. I loved seeing the big roaster knowing they roast everything in house. That's pretty dang fresh. And that cappucino was tasty. Not bitter, a nice smooth jolt of caffeine. This spot gives off Mexican coffee shop vibes. From the beautiful spanish music, and a menu of empanadas and Mexican coffees, what a great little hub. I'd say about 10 tables or so and there were quite a few regulars in chatting with the friendly staff. They were out of bagel sandwiches, but they do offer bolios breakfast sandwiches. It was a half of a roll with egg and i added bacon. It was a delicious little snack, but priced at $11, it was definitely overpriced. I saw on the receipt it said bagel sandwich - so they are charging you for a bagel sandwich, but giving you something less. I think they could work that out a bit for their customers, or at least provide the whole roll! Overall, coffee yes. Empanadas, most likely delicious. That bolios sandwich, while tasty not worth the $$$.
